chapter seven precis

In "Putting Good Reasons into Action"Faigley and Selzer state that one of the first steps in writing a successful paper is to find a purpose for writing the chosen argument.  They give examples of topics that can be written about to help writers be on their way of writing.  the purpose of the authors is to help young writers write a successful well written argument by organizing them correctly.  the intended audience is young writers who have little experience and are willing to learn.
